The office of Marketing and Communications is the official voice of York College, responsible for managing communication with campus stakeholders, local and higher education communities and media. The office coordinates with media sources and manages and safeguards the York College, CUNY brand.

Office of the Bursar
The Bursar’s Office manages financial transactions between students, the College, and the Community in a courteous and professional manner. In this capacity, the Bursar’s Office will adhere to departmental, College, State and Federal policies and procedures.

Office of Economic and Workforce Development

York College Learning Center
The York College Learning Center offers foundational education and training, as well as advisement and referral services that expand opportunities for marginalized adults to achieve increased independence, realize life goals, and become active in civic and workplace responsibilities as individuals, parents, and members of the broader community.
START-UP-NY
York College is literally ready for business -- as an Empire State Development START-UP NY site, which enables new or existing companies to apply to New York State to participate in START-UP NY. If accepted, they can then apply to York College to participate in the College’s Campus Plan. Attached are the York College campus plan and priority areas for potential business partnerships.
Business Office
The Business Office provides oversight of the College’s fiscal operations, safeguards assets, and continually facilitates financial operations.
Purchasing Department
The Purchasing Office is responsible for facilitating the procurement of all goods and services efficiently and effectively, in compliance with the policies and procedures of the City University of New York as well as the State and City of New York.
Buildings and Grounds
The Buildings and Grounds Department is a service organization tasked with operating and maintaining all York College facilities and seven buildings in the heart of Jamaica, Queens.

York Early College Academy (YECA)
The York Early College Academy, York College and the NYC Department of Education/District 28 have partnered to offer an early college initiative that will provide traditionally underserved students with academic programs that graduate students with high school diplomas and up to 60 college credits.
Government Relations and Strategic Initiatives
The Office of Government and Community Relations is responsible for planning, developing, and directing all aspects and phases of the college’s government relations and community engagement operations.
Office of Student Academic Services
Office of Student Academic Services (OSAS) is where students come for information regarding the Committee on Academic Policy and Standards (CAPS), Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and for information regarding their academic standing. Additionally, OSAS provides students with campus logistical support and information on policies, procedures, practices, and resources on how to best proceed with petitioning in order to achieve academic success.
Male Initiative Program
The purpose of the York Male Initiative Program is to provide a system of support, through various resources, that contribute to the improvement of enrollment and graduation rates of underrepresented populations, particularly male students.
Custodial Services
The York College Custodial Services unit is committed to providing comprehensive, efficient, and professional green cleaning services to support student success; faculty teaching, scholarship, and creativity; administrative departments; and to members of the broader communities we serve on the College’s fifty-acre campus.
