Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Guidelines Qualifying for federal aid requires that students meet several requirements.
Federal Satisfactory Progress Standard
Recipients of federal financial aid are required to be making Satisfactory Academic Progress in accordance with appropriate guidelines. Students who fail to meet the progress requirements due to unusual circumstances that can be documented may apply for a waiver.
