Movie Night and Reflection

Primary focus of this event is to discuss parents and teachers' impact on children with exceptionalities.  Our guest speaker, Meredith Hyde, our guest speaker, will share her experience as a person diagnose with dyslexia and is now also a parent of a child with dyslexia. The movie selected to enhance this  discussion focuses on a child with dyslexia also.  The goal is to provide information about dyslexia so that teacher candidates will begin to think about evidence-based strategies that will lead to dyslexic students' success.
