Student Government Association Election

Do you want to get involved on campus, develop your leadership skills, and participate in policy-making?  Do you want to represent the York student body, have a voice in the allocation of funds from student activity fees, participate in a campus-wide committee, or improve the student experience at York?  If so, please consider running for the 2024 - 2025 York College Student Government Association (SGA).

Minimum Criteria

Be matriculated at York for at least one semester and taking at least 6 credit as an undergraduate or 3 credits as a graduate student
Must be currently registered for classes during the semester in which they run
Have a GPA of 2.3 or higher and have not filed for graduation
Be able to hold the position for a full academic year

To participate, interested students must attend one of the mandatory Candidates' Information Sessions.

Campaign Violations

Any alleged violation of the campaign regulations (during campaigning or voting) may be submitted, in writing, to the Student Elections Review Committee (SERC) before the close of polls on the last day of elections. Complaints should be submitted to the Student Elections Review Committee (SERC).
