To best take advantage of the resources provided by Pivot-RP (ProQuest) it is recommended to set up a user profile. To do so, please follow the listed steps below (please note these steps are easier to follow if you are currently logged in to a YC Campus computer with your YC credentials):

- Head to the Pivot website
- Click on the Pivot Profiles menu option
- Select the Create and Account option
- Click 'Use Email Address/Create Password
- Fill in all the required fields - Please note, the 'Affiliated Member Institution' field should be populated with the following selection: "York College, The City University of New York"
- Finally, select the blue 'Create My Account' button at the bottom of the signup page
Use your Pivot-RP Account information to log in to the search resource by heading to the Pivot-RP Login Screen and filling out your user information.
If you are logged in to a YC Campus computer with your YC Credentials (even if you are not logged in to Pivot-RP) you can access your fellow YC peers' profiles and see the funding opportunities available for each department and each department's researchers:
- Make sure you are logged in to a YC campus computer with your YC credentials
- Head to the Pivot website
- Select the Profiles menu option
- Here, you can see the Researcher Profiles for York College - click on each dropdown menu to access each department and click the blue 'view profiles' option to view the researcher profiles for each department
