Pivot-RP

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs endorses Pivot-RP (ProQuest), a national database that provides a comprehensive source for public and private funding opportunities.

Pivot-RP (ProQuest) is a grant funding search service (available for free to all CUNY faculty). Pivot allows all PIs, including YC faculty - with a special focus on those in the humanities and social sciences concentrations – to gain access to supplementary resources for finding and applying to funding opportunities, whether public or private.

  • Pivot-RP Funding Opportunities – this page provides researchers access to over 24,000 current funding opportunities offered by over 11,000 public and private funding agencies, globally. The Pivot Funding page offers a helpful graphical guide that allows users to browse their funding options by keyword through an interactive chart – otherwise, users can simply type in a general search term, search for a particular funder, or search for a particular keyword.
  • Pivot-RP Funding Alerts – Pivot users can access funding alerts, once signed into their Pivot account. These alerts run weekly on Sundays (EST/EDT). These alerts can be viewed directly on Pivot or via the aforementioned weekly email alert. These alerts allow notice of new or updated funding opportunities.
