NSF - Research.gov
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs utilizes the Research.gov system for NSF-based grant proposal submissions.
The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal entity whose main goal is to aid the growth of the sciences and engineering across America.
- Under the umbrella of the NSF is Research.gov, which acts as the grants management platform for the NSF. Replacing FastLane, Research.gov, offers quick access to research information and grants management services, all in one location.
- The NSF uses Research.gov for research grant proposal submissions, project reports, and proposal notifications and requests.
To obtain a Research.gov User ID, you can call us at the ORSP and we will register you as a new user.
- You may also register by yourself through the Research.gov Account Registration page or by following the NSF Account Management PDF.
- If you already have a Fastlane User ID, you can access Research.gov - that is, you do not need to request a new one. However, you will need to request to be affiliated with CUNY York College by accessing the Research.gov help desk.
