Donald Auriemma, ChairDear Prospective Students:

Welcome to the Occupational Therapy Department web page.   York College offers an accredited combined degree program leading to a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. York College is proud to be one of the senior colleges situated in City University of  New York, the largest urban university system in the United States.

In our 40 plus year history, graduates have successfully entered occupational therapy practice with distinction and many have taken on roles of certified advance practitioners, mentors, managers, administrators, educators, consultants, entrepreneurs, and researchers within the profession. Though it is common for our graduates to provide services to diverse urban populations in our area, graduates from York College can be found throughout our country and worldwide.

Our distinguished and diverse faculty is committed to helping each of our students achieve their goal of obtaining a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy. Additionally, our faculty holds paramount, their contributions to shape future practice and the quality of occupational therapy services being delivered.

Today, there are many choices for those seeking professional occupational therapy education.  For many, a diverse student body, easy access by transportation, high pass and retention rates, low tuition cost, and the distinguished accomplishments of our graduates and faculty have made the York College’s Occupational Therapy program their top choice.
