The Writing Across the Curriculum Program

The Writing Across the Curriculum Program at York promotes a coherent and effective sequence of writing instruction for undergraduates throughout their degree programs. The WAC Program coordinates writing intensive (WI) course offerings across all major programs and provides consultation and professional development for faculty members teaching WI courses. In WI courses, students practice writing and research conventions in the disciplines and build proficiency with central course concepts through written assignments.
