Mission Statement

Alumni Affairs engages alumni and students in a mutually beneficial connection to York College through programs and events.

Goals

  1. Create and enhance opportunities for alumni and student engagement in support of York College.
  2. Use technology and social media to connect and engage alumni and students to the York College community.
  3. Develop an alumni volunteer program that provides opportunities for engagement, networking, mentoring, and recognition
  4. Build awareness and support of York College’s Initiatives with stakeholders

Alumni Affairs is a unit within Institutional Advancement charged with facilitating alumni engagement to strengthen the extended York College Community and its programs. The unit provides services that include the annual class reunion program, alumni networking receptions, and maintains the York Cardinal Alumni Network (YCAN) Facebook page and Instagram account. 

The Alumni Association is an independent membership organization and a membership fee is required. The Alumni Association is managed entirely by dedicated volunteers and seeks to promote the aims of the college, its alumni, students, and the community.
