Financial Reports

General Accounting and Financial Reporting is responsible for providing financial reporting for various areas of the College and its related entities.

This area prepares financial reports for Student Tuition and Fees, the York College Auxiliary, the York College Association, the York College Child and Family Center, and the York College Foundation, as well as reporting for all other non-tax levy funds received by the College. This area is guided by an integrated and flexible infrastructure, effective internal control policies, and financial integrity. For the purpose of transparency, internal as well as external reports are provided to various end users. This unit is also responsible for developing and implementing the College’s accounting policies and procedures by preparing quarterly and annual financial statements. 

Accounting and Financial Reporting  -  has responsibility for preparing the College financial statements. Other functions of this unit include: performing the accounting for the College; coordinating the audits of the College Auxiliary Enterprise, College Associations, College Foundation, College Child and Family Care Center, College Adult and Continuing Education and Queens Educational Opportunity Center. Preparing combined financial statements and management reports from these audits; serving as liaison to the College’s external auditors.
