Creating Blackboard Rubrics
What to have ready: your rubric with levels of achievement and criteria and descriptions.
In the Course Management section, your —the home office— area, click on “Course Tools,” then on “Rubrics”. In the action bar, click on “Create Rubric”. Type in a name for the rubric and, if you want, provide a description. –BEEP-- In the Rubric Detail section, use the add buttons, the double arrows, and the action buttons to set up your rubric. Click in the empty boxes to provide descriptions. As for the rubric type, we recommend that you only choose “Percent” or “No Points” to avoid complications later on. Click “Submit” to save your rubric.
