Transforming the Narrative on Taxes

Join us for a workshop on taxes with Student Life Specialist, Nichole Acevedo and Student Leader, Gurpreet Singh!

This Student Resource Workshop will consist of two parts:

Gurpreet Singh, a York College Student Leader, will share his expertise as a VITA volunteer on filing for taxes, whether you have filed before or it's your first time, and the components to look out for.

Nichole Acevedo, Student Life, Specialist, will continue the conversation by providing different free to low-cost resources related to tax preparation.

The first 30 students who RSVP will be provided with a free book that's helpful for financial self-sufficiency!
