It's brick outside

Dear students,

I woke up this morning to the weatherman saying it’s 21 degrees, but the 'feels like' temperature is 9 degrees.  After so many years of living in NYC, this island girl is still not accustomed to such cold weather.   I never understood what people meant when they said it was brick outside until I couldn’t feel my feed one day many years ago.  And it really felt like I was walking on two bricks.   So trust me when I say that I wasn’t looking forward to leaving my house today. But I got it together, grabbed my boots, scarf , gloves and a warm coat and headed to campus.

Fortunately for those of you who have not yet registered for classes, but still need to, but do not want to step foot into this cold weather, we have V-READY the Virtual Registration, Enrollment and Advisement one stop center at York.  Today and for the rest of the week you can meet with an advisor, get support to register, clear holds and check your Financial Aid status.  And best of all you don’t need an appointment.
