News of the Passing of York College Student

Dear York College Community,

I’m writing to share the heartbreaking news that Zauditu Grindley, a first-year Nursing student, passed away unexpectedly on February 17th. It is always difficult to share news of such a deep and sudden loss. We have conveyed our heartfelt condolences and support to the Grindley family and told them that the York community supports them during this time of profound grief.

If you are a classmate, friend, or Professor of Ms. Grindley, we understand that this is your loss as well and we offer you our sympathy. Also, we understand that even if you didn’t know her, this news can be hard to bear.
