Commencement

The deadline to apply online for Spring 2026 graduation is November 17, 2025. Students who have not applied for graduation and plan to finish their final course(s) in the Spring semester will need to apply for Summer 2026 graduation in their CUNYfirst Student Center starting December 1, 2025. If you manage to enroll in ALL outstanding degree requirements in Spring 2026, then you can email Johnny Diaz (from your York email account) at jdiaz@york.cuny.edu in late February to request a switch to Spring 2026 graduation.

Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026 and Spring 2026 graduates represent the Class of 2026 and will be invited to participate in the 2026 Commencement ceremony.
