Tutoring

York College's Collaborative Learning Center provides free of charge tutoring to students who need help with class material, homework, or preparing for exams. York College CLC aims to provide tutoring that assists, deepens, and enriches students' learning and understanding of course content materials.

It is highly recommended that all Accounting majors join GoldStandard The Accounting Society. This on-campus Accounting club is a great way to meet and network with like-minded individuals and future colleagues. For membership and event questions, please visit the Accounting department's main office in the Academic Core building at room 2B06.

The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)

The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA, Inc.), is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for people of color in the Accounting, Finance, Consulting, Information Technology and other related business professions. Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA)

ALPFA was the first national Latino professional association in the United States, established in Los Angeles in 1972. Their mission is to, "To empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy." (York College Chapter information coming soon)
