York College’s impartial Ombudsperson office offers confidential assistance to students with college-related concerns, complaints, or disputes not resolved through traditional channels. We also provide information and clarification on college policies and procedures.

Goals

Our goals include:

  • Raising awareness, understanding, and utilization of the Ombuds Services.
  • Educating students about the fair and equitable process for resolving issues and concerns.
  • Establishing a systemic feedback process to facilitate continuous process improvement.

Student Complaint

All complaints are taken seriously and will be reviewed by the appropriate departments responsible for such submissions. You should expect to receive an acknowledgment and follow-up.
