Dr. Srivatanakul is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at York College. She earned a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2005 and Master degree in Software Engineering in 2001 both from the University of York, United Kingdom. Her Ph.D. dissertation titled 'Security Analysis with Deviational Techniques' was supervised by Professor Dr. John A. Clark and Dr. Fiona Polack. Dr. Srivatanakul also has a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
Dr.Srivatanakul's scholarly interests lie in the field of web security, software engineering and on social media. Her recent research includes work in the area of security analysis, uses of social network in education, digital literacy and the use of online surveys.
