Shawn Williams is the Program Coordinator of Health Science @ CUNY York College and Academic Chair of Health Professions Department. He has obtained clinical sub-specialty certifications in Functional Medicine and Clinical Biomechanics of Posture. Dr. Williams’ scholarly works are in the social science arena - focusing on occupational stressors of Alternative Medicine Practitioners. His scholarly interests include methodological, conceptual, and theoretical contributions to regeneration medicine; specifically examining the role of chiropractic and complementary/alternative healthcare within the larger health care system (organization, financing, utilization, practice/provision, policy).
