York College Students Shine in American Chemical Society's Chem Challenge

York College students participated in the American Chemical Society's Chem Challenge at St. John's University earlier this month. This annual event features a quiz-style contest in which teams of students from colleges in Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island compete against each other to demonstrate their superior chemistry skills.

Students Ryan Chen, Paul Chan, and Mohendra Sarjuprasad won third place in the challenge, taking home bronze medals and Amazon gift certificates. Favour Ogueri, Leonora Marte, and Stephania Monestime also represented York on additional teams, gaining valuable experience for next year's Challenge.
