About Professor Mary-Jo Kranacher
Professor Kranacher is a CPA, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). She holds the ACFE Endowed Professorship of Fraud Examination and has previously served as the chair of her department. From January 2006 to June 2013, she was the Editor-in-Chief of The CPA Journal.
Kranacher was also involved in a project funded by the U.S. Department of Justice that resulted in the development of a model curriculum for fraud and forensic accounting education. She has extensive experience in forensic investigations and is a renowned author and speaker on forensic accounting, fraud detection, and fraud deterrence.
Her contributions to the field have earned her numerous accolades, including the following:
