This biographical movie showcased the remarkable story of Alan Turing, a brilliant mathematician who helped crack the Nazi Enigma code during World War II. The event was attended by the S-STEM team and mentors, adding a touch of math and computer science excitement.

Converge, The First Annual York College STEM Day

Co-organized with the Queens Experiences in Discrete Mathematics (QED) REU Program and the New York State Education Department STEP Program at York College. The day featured a keynote speech by Dr. Sylvester "Jim" Gates, a National Medal of Science winner and former Obama advisor. It also included poster presentations from members of the QED REU and the S-STEM Scholars Program.
