York Library is open for both on-site and remote services.
Reference Help
Librarians can be reached by chat or via email. During Summer session, Librarians are available in-person from 9am-5pm Mon-Thu. (Closed on Fridays from June 16 to August 11, except June 23 and July 7.) Remote Chat services are also still available, with help from both York and other CUNY Librarians. Use the chatbox, or try our FAQs. Longer reference appointments can be scheduled using the research consultation form.

Library materials and resources can be accessed from off-campus by using your CUNY Login. If you have problems logging in, please email us or use the chatbox on the right-hand side of the page. Circulation Help
If you need assistance from Circulation/Reserve, please email library@york.cuny.edu or select the "York Circulation" department via the chatbox on this page. Questions about library blocks, fines, or other circulation and reserve issues? During Summer session, Circulation staff are available in-person from 9am-5pm Mon-Thu. Fines and Renewals
In recognition of the extraordinary circumstances, overdue and recall fines have not be charged for books, DVDs, or equipment. Books from the stacks can be renewed as another library patron does not place a recall. To learn more, visit CUNY's statement on the continuity of library services.
