Library
York Library is open for both on-site and remote services. The lower level stacks are closed, but we will retrieve books for you. Use OneSearch to request books in advance.
Reference Help
Librarians can be reached by chat or via email. During Summer session, librarians are available in-person from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. Use the chatbox, or try our FAQs. Longer reference appointments can be scheduled using the research consultation form.
Library Resources
Library materials and resources can be accessed from off-campus by using your CUNY Login. If you have problems logging in, please email us or use the chatbox on the right-hand side of the page. To learn more about what resources are available to support distance learning, visit our remote resources research guide.
Circulation Help
If you need assistance from Circulation/Reserve, please email library@york.cuny.edu or select the "York Circulation" department via the chatbox on this page. Questions about library blocks, fines, or other circulation and reserve issues? During Summer session, Circulation staff are available to answer your questions via email or chat from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. You can also message a staff member via our Facebook page.

Fines and Renewals
In recognition of the extraordinary circumstances, overdue and recall fines have not be charged for books, DVDs, or equipment. Books from the stacks can be renewed as another library patron does not place a recall. To learn more, visit CUNY's statement on the continuity of library services.
