Dr. Cunningham is a board-certified Physician Associate with nearly two decades of clinical experience spanning emergency medicine, urgent care, and proactive primary care. She earned her Doctor of Medical Science degree with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and Leadership and is passionate about bridging clinical care with health system innovation. At York College, Dr. Cunningham teaches courses in Evidence-Based Medicine, Health Informatics, Physical Diagnosis, and Clinical Skills. Her academic focus centers on preparing the next generation of providers with strong foundations in both patient care and healthcare delivery systems. Beyond the classroom, she serves as a mentor and advocate for students from underrepresented backgrounds, guiding them toward diverse careers in medicine and healthcare. Dr. Cunningham is also actively involved in professional organizations, leadership development, and program design aimed at advancing whole-person health, quality improvement, and the integration of technology in clinical practice.
