The Central Office Procurement Team is excited to announce that the CUNYBuy Marketplace is now available. This will simplify the acquisition experience for office supplies, books, and MRO supplies for creators and requestors. We will be expanding the Marketplace experience to include additional CUNY-contracted vendors!

Central Office scheduled the following Post Go-live training sessions.  Users may register by clicking on the applicable link.     

  • New training session for end-user, they may register via Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
  • Online support sessions, now Tuesdays and Thursdays, where users can get one-on-one assistance.

For CUNYfirst Marketplace requisitions, the user must use the Firefox browser, with no exception.  This is a CUNYfirst punchout browser compatibility issue, which will be resolved when we go live with CUNYBuy for the full suite in July.

Food items (e.g., water, coffee, food, candy, etc.) and maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) items are restricted from the Proftech catalog.  If users need to order food items and based on applicable policies, they can create regular requisitions (non-blanket) which will be routed based on the current approval workflow. MRO items must be ordered from Grainger/Edge.

Central Purchasing Office hosts several online support sessions, schedules are located at CUNYBuy.  Users will be required to authenticate themselves and share their screens.
