Professor Flouris received his Ph.D. from the UofSC in 1995. He is currently VP-Academic Affairs at Metropolitan College, Athens, Greece. Dr. Flouris has extensive international experience in strategic planning and higher education administration in the US, Canada, and Greece. He is the author of ten books, and over two hundred refereed journal articles, book chapters, scholarly articles, and public reports on aviation topics. He is a professional pilot and flight instructor with airline operating experience and over 12,000 hours of total flight time. At CUNY, York College he has served previously as Director of the Aviation Institute and is currently a visiting professor in the Department of Business and Economics.
