Professor Stephanie Store's experience in nursing and as a Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients within the community developed her passion for teaching, service, and scholarship. Professor Store received the Most Distinguished Adjunct Award from York College nursing department in 2016. After her decision to join York College as full-time nursing faculty in 2018 she has been the recipient of the Professional Staff Congress - City University of New York Traditional A grant which is funding her current research study exploring father's experience losing an infant by way of intimate partner miscarriage. Professor Store is completing her PhD dissertation study. Professor Store has participated in courses to enhance teaching strategies and has participated in several peer-reviewed national and regional professional presentations of her research. Professor Store recently completed a study exploring generic nursing student's perceptions of a pilot synchronous group virtual simulation.
