Professor Jasmine Bratton-Robinson joined the York College Nursing Department in Fall 2019 as a Substitute Lecturer. She is a certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse. Her clinical experience and expertise is in Community and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. She earned her Associate degree from New York City College of Technology. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Professor Bratton-Robinson is currently in the process of completing her Doctor of Philosophy degree with a focus in Nursing Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. In Fall 2020 she became a full-time nursing faculty member in her newly appointed position as Assistant Professor. Her research interests include early intervention to prevent mental illness stigma in Registered Professional Nurses, tools to prevent nurse burnout, and the impact of Covid-19 on marginalized populations.
