Dr. Toussaint Jacques' research lies at the intersections of education, communication, and technology in the context of public health, specifically focusing on school-aged populations. She examines how digital tools and social media platforms influence people's ability to access, understand, and use health information. Additionally, she evaluates the design and policies governing health education programs. Her work is dedicated to addressing the health literacy gap and disparities, and she collaborates with community-based organizations to promote speech and debate curricula as part of her advocacy efforts to advance health literacy, healthcare communication, and integrate health literacy pedagogy into school policies. Her approach relies on secondary data analyses and large datasets to generate data-driven insights.
