York College, CUNY's MUREP Program Featured on NY1 News

The MUREP (Minority University Research and Education Project), formerly known as SEMAA (Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Aerospace Academy), was featured on local TV over the weekend of February 11-12, 2017.

The clip below features young participants and Dr. Nazrul Khandaker, director of the program, which has been serving community children, first through 10th grades for nearly 20 years. The free program recently celebrated the important milestone of 20,000 participants thus far.
