Public Safety Raises Funds and Awareness of Breast Cancer

On Sunday, October 20, 2019 members of the York College Public Safety Department (Team Public Safety Protectors) participated in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk.

The walk took place on the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, New York. The Public Safety Protectors had over 30 members and raised $1,578 for breast cancer research and support programs.

This is the team’s fourth year participating in the walk and they welcome anyone who would like to join and help fight against breast cancer.
