Prof. Diao publishes new research article

Prof. Junli Diao has published an article that profiles technical services librarians’ contribution to library research guides.

The article examines research guides located in 296 academic libraries’ websites from 233 colleges and universities. The findings highlight the importance of technical services librarians’ involvement in the development of LibGuides, in addition to other undertakings in public services.

"The unintentional contribution of this article is adding concrete value to the professional literature of the Library and Information Science that continues the ongoing argument of librarians as faculty," according to the editor.
