This spring semester program provides students with an opportunity to learn and serve (part-time, approximately 15 hrs./week ) with the district offices of legislators comprising membership on the NYS Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Asian Legislative Caucus. The ETR Internship Program will be seeking out and making arrangements with sites to host internship opportunities during the spring. Selected student interns will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including constituent and community relations.

Traditionally a $2000 scholarship is provided by CUNY for students accepted to the Caucus CUNY Scholars. It is contingent upon the availability of funds and is not currently guaranteed. We will update you as new information becomes available.

All students selected for this internship are required to register for POL 394 in spring 2022. The course will provide a complementary academic and professional development experience.
