Dr. Galila Werber Named Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine

Dr. Galila Werber-Zion, Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.

The York College community is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Dr. Galila Werber-Zion. Dr. Werber-Zion has been awarded the esteemed title of Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM) in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the field. The ACSM Credentials Committee and the ACSM Board of Trustees have unanimously approved Dr. Werber-Zion's application for the distinguished Fellow status. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in her career and highlights her unwavering dedication to the field of exercise science. In honor of this achievement, Dr. Werber-Zion will be formally recognized as a new Fellow at a special reception during the 2023 ACSM Annual Meeting in Denver later this month.
