Dean’s List Ceremony Honors Student Dedication and Achievement

Students received an award in recognition of their outstanding academic performance for being named to the Dean’s List.

The Dean’s List ceremony was a meaningful moment for students to be recognized for their hard work and dedication. It gave them a chance to be celebrated for the time and effort they put into maintaining strong GPAs, often balancing many responsibilities along the way.

When asked how they felt, one student shared, “I feel very recognized and valued as a student,” highlighting how important acknowledgment can be after putting in so much effort. Another student expressed a similar sense of pride, saying, “It’s an honor to be able to do hard things.” Their words captured the resilience it takes to reach this level of success.

Provost Dr. Derrick Brazil spoke about the significance of the moment when asked how he feels to be present for this significant moment every year. “This is a testament to their hardworking, and it’s important to celebrate these achievements,” he said. “These students are achieving and doing great things.”
