York College Welcomes Physician Assistant Class of 2029

York College is proud to welcome the newest cohort of future healthcare leaders: the Physician Assistant (PA) Class of 2029. This diverse and highly driven group of 30 students recently began their rigorous medical training, marking the first step in a journey that will prepare them to provide exceptional care to communities near and far.

The start of the academic year was celebrated with a comprehensive orientation that highlighted the deep support system awaiting these incoming students. The new cohort was warmly welcomed not only by the dedicated PA program faculty and staff, who will guide them through their didactic and clinical education, but also by York College’s institutional leadership.

“Our students are embarking on an intense and deeply rewarding path,” said Harry Persaud, PhD, DrPH, MBA, PA-C, Physician Assistant Program Director. “Having our faculty and staff standing shoulder-to-shoulder with these 30 exceptional individuals reflects our collective commitment to their success. We are here to ensure they develop the clinical acumen and compassionate approach necessary to excel in modern medicine.”
