Neuroscience Research Puts Spotlight on Biology Department

Dr. Margaret MacNeil of the Biology Department was recently interviewed by science journalist Dr. Andy Ridgway about a new paper published in Neuroscience, the flagship journal of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). The work was featured in a research spotlight on the IBRO website in March and highlights the team’s findings on the potential of a patented, mitochondria-directed peptide, HDAP2, to protect vision in glaucoma and other optic neuropathies.
