2 York Computer Science Students Featured in CUNY Research in Focus

Two of our Computer Science students were recently highlighted in the August edition of CUNY Research in Focus for their contributions to an interdisciplinary project that explores “The World Through Hip Hop.”

The article, titled “The World Through Hip Hop,” features recent Computer Science graduate Leyanna Daniels and current Computer Science major Devonte Edward. Their work showcases how computing and data analysis can intersect with culture, music, and social issues, reflecting the breadth and impact of CS beyond traditional tech domains.
