Mission

The Mentoring Department at York College is dedicated to fostering a supportive community that empowers students to achieve their academic and personal goals. We facilitate meaningful connections between students and peer mentors, providing guidance, resources, and encouragement to help mentees navigate their college experience, stay focused on their studies, and persist toward graduation. Our program also cultivates leadership, communication, and service skills in mentors, while connecting students to the broader college community.
