Mission

The Office of the President fosters student success by providing strategic vision, leadership, and support to the College’s diverse stakeholders. We provide oversight of activities that ensure excellence in teaching, learning, research, and community service, thereby fulfilling York College’s mission, vision and values.

Goals

  • Cultivate a culture of ongoing improvement through collaboration with students, faculty, staff, and community;
  • Empower students to invest in their own potential for academic, personal, and professional achievement;
  • Oversee the financial health of the College
  • Promote excellence in academic programs and the recruitment, retention, and growth of a diverse faculty committed to teaching, service, and scholarship;
