Diversity and Compliance Assessment


The mission of the Office of Diversity and Compliance is to foster equity, diversity, and inclusion in the campus community and ensure a learning and working environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Consistent with this commitment, and in compliance with all applicable laws and University policies, the Office is responsible for educational initiatives designed to promote diversity and respect, preparing and disseminating various reports, and investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment.


  • To ensure recruitment and retention practices that are conducive to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment;
  • To increase awareness of and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
  • To increase awareness of policy and procedures around the investigation process and address reported incidents of discrimination and harassment
  • To promote a culture of respect where all members of the campus community can thrive both academically and professionally;

The Diversity and Compliance Assessment Unit is part of the President Division.
