Academic Advisement Center Assessment

Mission

The mission of the Academic Advisement Center is to provide all incoming students support that empowers them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. The Center provides proactive and intrusive academic advising and registration support to all undergraduate students. We assist students in creating and executing educational plans, exploring their life and career aspirations, while promoting timely and successful completion of their undergraduate degree.

Goals

  • Ensure all incoming and continuing freshman attend a seminar/campaign have access to their Student Education Plan in DegreeWorks
  • Ensure all incoming freshman undergraduate students have an understanding of academic momentum.
  • Ensure Sophomores identify career goals and requirements to declare a major/minor and to persist towards on-time graduation.

The Academic Advisement Center Assessment Unit is part of the Academic Affairs Division.
