Join The York English Department At our Fall Poetry Reading Featuring Poet Eva Salzman Originally from Brooklyn and Long Island, Ms. Salzman now divides her time between London and New York.

She received her M.F.A. in Poetry at Columbia University and her recent books include Double Crossing: New and Selected Poems and the acclaimed Women’s Work: Modern Women Poets Writing in English. Ms. Salzman is a recipient of a Cholmondeley Award from the Society of Authors, and has received grants from the Arts Council of Great Britain, won second prize in the National Poetry Competition in England, and has held writing fellowships at several universities and writing conferences in Europe and the U.S.
