Department of Social Work Phi Alpha Honor Society Induction Ceremony

The Chi Sigma MSW chapter of Phi Alpha National Honor Society for Social Work was charted on February 23, 2018. On February 22, 2023, the International Office of Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work confirmed extending the Chi Sigma chapter to include scholars enrolled in the York College Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) program.

A Phi Alpha National Honor Society for Social Work, Chi Sigma chapter induction ceremony will be held to recognize social work undergraduate and graduate majors. Phi Alpha Honor Society honor cords and stoles are worn during commencement exercises.
