Please join us for presentations and discussion with Queens community organizations on (1) NYC Planning, ULURP, and Environmental Justice, (2) Coastal Resilience, Green Infrastructure, and Community Voices, (3) Public Health and Quality of Life for All in Queens. NYC Council Member and Chair of Environmental Protection Committee, Costa Constantinides, will give a noon keynote address.  

The Consortium is comprised of an inter-disciplinary faculty group from the five CUNY campuses in Queens – Queens College, York College, CUNY Law School, LaGuardia Community College and Queensborough Community College.  The Consortium seeks to build and expand capacity for borough-wide research and coordination on community-engaged planning, policy, and interventions to address climate change and facilitate solutions and strategies for resiliency and equity.
