Sundeep Bisla, Associate Professor of English, specializes in Nineteenth-Century British Literature and Literary Theory.
His book “Wilkie Collins and Copyright” was published in 2013. It investigates Collins's difficulties with the iterability of the word, particularly in relation to Victorian and pre-Victorian legal culture. He is currently working on three book projects: 1) a project dealing with Joseph Conrad's fiction tentatively titled "Conrad's Signature: The Colonization of Linguistic Form," 2) a project dealing with George Eliot's fiction and 3) a project attempting to describe the relationship between narrative and history. He also enjoys writing fiction in his spare time.
