Accounting and Finance
Dr. Quaye received her doctoral degree in accounting from The University of Scranton, Pennsylvania. She has taught Principles of Accounting I, II, International Accounting and Volunteer Income Tax at York College since 2015. Her research interest is accounting education, specifically, the use of psychological distance to attract and retain students from under-served populations into accounting programs in colleges and the accounting profession in general. Her research focus is on the use of effective teaching techniques and student learning styles to support student growth. She has been inducted as a lifetime member into Beta Gamma Sigma, the Business Honor Society.
