Casandra Silva Sibilin is a Lecturer in Philosophy at York College, City University of New York (CUNY) and specializes in Philosophy of Education. She recently led the Education team for Building Bridges of Knowledge, a CUNY-wide interdisciplinary fellowship project aiming to help students use AI tools ethically, responsibly, and effectively. She has created open educational resources that empower faculty and students to develop their own AI tools. Beyond CUNY, she founded and leads the subgroup on Custom Bots/GPTs for “AI in Education,” a global community of educators dedicated to sharing resources related to the impact of AI on teaching and learning.
