Billy Metallinos has a Doctorate of Higher Education from Concordia University as well as a Masters of Aeronautical Science and Space Studies from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from York College CUNY. Dr. Metallinos also serves in the Civil Air Patrol, The United States Air Force Auxiliary, in several different capacities: Emergency Services Officer, Aerospace Education Officer, Character Development Instructor, Recruiting and Retention Officer and as a Mission Pilot. Dr. Metallinos is also a Single Engine Land and Sea Commercial rated instrument pilot with high performance and complex endorsements, tailwheel endorsement, and an advanced ground and airplane instrument instructor certified by the Federal Aviation Administration.
